Dakota Bluffs: Skilled Nursing Services
When the time comes that a loved one can no longer care for themselves and a more secure, 24-hour supervised environment is necessary, Surrey Place provides a warm, nurturing, homelike atmosphere with personalized attention dedicated to helping your loved one thrive.
We understand that for many, the decision about long-term care can be a source of great stress and anxiety, so we strive to make the decision and transition to our facility as easy as possible. Our expert team of intake personnel takes care to ensure that our new residents feel welcome and at home as quickly as possible. And residents are welcome to bring along special belongings that make them feel more comfortable.
The scenic and beautifully landscaped grounds include a large courtyard complete with patios, fountain, outdoor grill, fireplace and walking paths for all the residents to enjoy.
Amenities available to our skilled nursing patients include high-quality medical care, laundry services and daily housekeeping, as well as delicious meals, stimulating activities and entertainment.
Each resident in our facility benefits from an individualized treatment plan created by a team of medical professionals, with input from everyone - staff, your loved one and relatives - all working together.
"We all want to express our appreciation for the fine care Mom received in the many years she was a resident at your facility. Our Mother lived a lot more years than any of us expected, and the entire family took solace in the fact that Mom was receiving the best care available at Surrey Place.
Her years in Dakota Bluffs were certainly not the most fun for a formerly very active woman like Mom, but the level of care she received was always top-notch throughout her time there. All the nurses, CNA's and other caregivers provided her the finest possible care for all those long years. Mom took great pride in staying as active as possible, taking part in physical therapy, exercise classes, various group activities and games, and the social "whirl" provided by the staff at Surrey.
Ladies and gentleman of Surrey Place, please accept the gratitude of our family for the wonderful care you provided to our beloved Mom for so long."
